Glass Mosaic

This piece of glass art is an updated version of my original Burning Bush that is also in the Judaica section. It is made using the glass mosaic technique. Once again, the Hebrew letters for life (spelling chai) rise from the flames.

In October of 2018, a gunman opened fire at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, PA. After the dust settled on that horrific event, it became clear to me that this window needed to be gifted to the congregation as a way to honor the memories of those members who lost their lives that day. We are awaiting a travel day sometime after the Covid virus has settled for presentation of this window.
